< >Palestinians will again return home in 2025.

Around 730 days of war nowadays stopped. Return certain distance Israel soldiers.  Palestinian health authorities report that Israel’s two-year-old ground and air campaign in Gaza has killed over 67,000 people, with nearly a third of the victims being

under 18. The war, initiated after the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack, has primarily targeted Gaza City since last month. Despite ongoing consultations on US President Donald Trump’s new 20-point plan to end the conflict, the offensive has continued.

The latest detailed report released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health on September 3 recorded 19,424 children's deaths, making up 30 percent of the total 64,232 deaths at that time. Its overall count has since increased to 67,160 as of October 6. The official death toll from the ministry surpasses all previous casualties in fights between Israelis and Palestinians in Gaza since 2005, according to data from Israeli human rights group B’Tselem. Early in the conflict, death tolls were simply based on bodies arriving at hospitals, with most including names and identity numbers. In May 2024, the health ministry added unidentified bodies, which made up nearly a third of the total. However, since October 2024, only identified bodies are included.

Israeli officials have said previously that the death toll   figures are suspect because of Hamas’s control over the   government in Gaza, and that they are manipulated.

The Israeli military says 466 of its soldiers were killed in combat, and 2,951 others were wounded since its Gaza ground operation began on October 27, 2023.

It also claims it goes to great lengths to avoid civilian casualties.

It alleges Hamas uses Gaza’s civilians as human shields by operating within densely populated areas, humanitarian zones, schools, and hospitals, a repeated accusation that both Hamas and international rights groups have denied.
